Working Group for UN Environment Consultation

Established in September 2005, the Working Group for UN Environment Consultation (WGUNEC-CAST) is committed to determining the stage-specific guidelines, strategies and action plans of CAST in participating in the UN environment consultation activities based on the international developments in the field of environmental diplomacy, proposing environmental diplomacy policies in accordance with the realities of China, providing guidance on relevant research, participating in UN environment consultation activities on behalf of the Chinese science community, and carrying out related multilateral or bilateral exchanges. The work of WGUNEC Secretariat is undertaken by the Secretariat of the Chinese National Committee for Future Earth (CNC-FE).
